The Danbury Mint | Morning Song by Judy Belle

This comes brand new in the original box.  Never displayed since original purchase in 1993.  16" tall.

Morning Song is a Cheyenne bride authentically dressed in her tribe's traditional bridal costume. One of 3 Native American brides from different tribes by Judy Belle, she is as meticulously detailed as the remaining dolls in the series shown in the Etsy store. Her head, breastplate, hands to the elbows & feet to just above the knees are made of porcelain. The body is soft (densely packed cotton).

Her dress is white faux buckskin decorated simply with Native American bead work as are her matching moccasins. Her hair is a synthetic black, wig decorated with a small bunch of colorful silk flowers & she is holding a bouquet of colorful silk flowers.
