Vintage 1949 Old Pennsylvania Dutch Dower Chest 

This is the actual chest hand painted by the artist as shown on the cover of the Pennsylvania Inquirer from 1949.  We have 2 copies of this issue that comes with the chest.  All original condition and measures 50" long x 29" tall x 22" deep.  Solid wood construction.

The chest is actually older which was then converted to the folk design as painted in 1949.
