Italian M91/38 Calvary Carbine - F.N.A. Brescia 1944 (6.5x52) w/ Bayonet, PS1543
Offered here is a late war Italian Moschetto Mod. 91/38 calvary carbine made by Fabbrica Nazionale d'Armi-Brescia and stamped 44-XIV ( 1944). The barrel is clearly marked Carcano 6.5 - Italy, confirming the standard wartime chambering for the 6.5x52 Mannlicher-Carcano cartridge. This example retains the folding calvary bayonet and shows clear receiver and arsenal stamps including serial block PS 1543.
The carbine uses original Mannlicher en-bloc 6 round loading system ( clip required ). Visible metal and stock condition are (fill), with original markings intact and crisp. This lot is a representative and collectible example of the M91 family shortened into the M91/38 carbine pattern - desirable to collectors of WWII Italian small arms, calvary memorabilia and surplus military rifles.
