Ejnar Hansen Woodblock Print on paper- Circa 1930. This was originally a piece that was inscribed to someone for best wishes gift. The back side of the print has the artist name and the word Pasadena under it - where the artist is from. The actual print image measures 12.25" x 10.75". There is a few more inches around the image thats just under the matting. Very good condition!!
Painter; Pasadena, California. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark. Hansen studied at the Teknisk Skole and the Royal Academy of Art (1903-1910) while working as a journeyman painter. Arrived in Chicago in 1914, and moved to Pasadena in 1925. Taught at Otis Art Institute, the Chouinard Art Institute (1937-1940), Pasadena City College, and the Pasadena School of Fine Arts (1952).
