Very interesting piece here with this Browning Hi Power 9mm. This piece is one of 500 sent to Malasia by the British Government from 1952-1954. All SAS British operatives began training in Malasia during those years. These 500 guns were intended to be used by SAS and MI 5 in that country. Of the 500 shipped, only 46 are known to have survived. This is one of 46. "E" prefixes were made for this specifically. The "T" in the serial number is Toronto ( Ontario Built ). Comes with 1 split toe magazine.
Serial number is 6T5427. Clear factory marks. Smooth moving tight locking action and clean trigger pull. Nice rifling lines throughout and no wear in the chamber or at the muzzle. Another interesting piece with back history and rarity of known pieces in existence.
